Susan Berg is a transition expert. Her career-long focus on mastering change—along with practices of stirring up creative energy—helps guide individuals and teams through the minefield and opportunities of 21st Century pressures.

Dr. Berg manages Compass Associates, providing businesses with transition advising. Initially an educator and school administrator in California and Texas, she honed her focus on designing strategic change projects. Those skills transferred perfectly to her more than dozen years at Unisys Corporation. There she was awarded the prestigious Chairman’s Innovation Award for implementing new teamwork practices for the demands of the 21st century.

Dr. Berg earned her Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of California, Los Angeles, her MA from Northwestern University, and her BA cum laude from Miami University in Ohio. She is also the author of Choose on Purpose (2009), a guide to making career decisions that are both meaningful and practical.
