Ms. Shanahan is principal of Shanahan Consulting Group, leading system interventions on leadership, cultural competence, and change management for a decade. As an educator, she has been developing curriculum and facilitating graduate courses on leadership, cultural diversity, and change management for a variety of universities since 2001.
Ms. Shanahan was previously the Director for Organizational Assessment at the University of Pennsylvania, designing and leading workshops to educate faculty and staff on strategies to manage business risk. She served as an internal auditor for the University of Pennsylvania and the Devereux Foundation after she practiced as a public accountant. She has served leadership roles for Philadelphia Region Organization Development Network, American Society for Training and Development, and Appreciative Inquiry Consulting. Ms. Shanahan serves leadership positions in several civic groups.
Eileen Shanahan received her MS in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and her BS in Accounting and Economics from West Chester University. Ms. Shanahan is a Certified Public Accountant and is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
