Debra is dedicated in helping to create effective, healthy organization through coaching, organization and leadership development, strategic planning, and training. Her work focuses on applying systems thinking to individual, group and organizational issues. In the whole-systems approach, all organizational work is interrelated. Clients learn to solve their own challenges and become aware of how they impact on all levels.
Debra has been teaching at SJU for five years now and enjoys all of her student interactions. Her interest is supporting and teaching new OD trained consultants. leaders and managers.
Debra has extensive experience in organizations in various roles, including president of a packaging company at 30 years old, where her leadership as an executive was essential to the company’s success. For the two decades, she has applied her business experience, training in organization development and coaching to her work, and focuses on the themes of change and transition that arise from the rapid and often humanly-impossible-to-keep-pace-with shifts in organizational life.
She founded gestaltworks, llc and consults with a wide range of organizations – synagogues, Jewish Federations, Non-Profits, pharma, corporate, family owned businesses, faith-based, small and large, and flourishes on the variety and difference they offer.
