Higher education professional with 10+ years of experience dedicated to working with and teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in the Criminal Justice and Career Managament fields. With full-time experience in enrollment management and career advising, becoming an adjunct in 2010 allowed me to take on an additional role about which I am extremely passionate. Working with students to achieve their academic goals allows me to combine my love for teaching with my enjoyment of career advising, as achieving academic goals often enables students to also achieve their personal and professional goals. I teach a number of courses within the Criminal Justice program, but have a strong focus on Juvenile Delinquency and Professional Writing as my undergraduate and graduate education was focused on those topics. I encourage students to seek out topics of interest in the courses I teach so that the work they in class do can be both interesting to them personally and, often, helpful or related to their professional endeavors.
