How many sessions a year do you offer?
In order to align with the demanding schedules of today's professionals, the MSBIA program offers 6 sessions per year. Each session is 8 weeks in duration. Students have the option of entering 3 times a year (January, May, and August). Request information below for the next start date.
What kind of educational background is required for admission?
You must have an undergraduate degree from selected regionally accredited colleges or universities.
Is there a thesis required?
No, a thesis is not required.
What tests are required for admission?
The program will accept the GMAT or GRE. For students interested in Summer 2020 or Fall 2020, the testing requirement has been waived. These tests may also be waived for those with certain professional certifications, certain master degrees, professional experience, or exemplary undergraduate GPAs. More detailed information can be provided by your Program Manager.
How many total credits are required?
The MSBIA online program consists of 30 credit hours.
How many courses do I take per academic term?
Most adult students, who work full-time, take 3 credit hours of courses per eight-week session. The Online MS in Business Intelligence & Analytics program offers six academic sessions per year, which means that most students take 18 credit hours of courses per year.
Is there a residency requirement with MSBIA degree?
No, the MS in Business Intelligence & Analytics is fully online, you don't have to travel to the campus.
Is advising available for all students?
Yes. Each student receives a customized Curriculum Planner for the online MSBIA program and can set up a telephone appointment to speak with an advisor whenever assistance is needed.
