1:1 Career Counseling Appointments:
The CDC can arrange to schedule your appointment via the phone or video chat so you can take advantage of developing an action plan for your career goals. They have flexible hours and can work with those in other time zones. Choose between 30 or 60 minute appointments which focus on resume development, career change, job or internship search, or any other career-related questions you may have! Job Search Database:
Handshake is an online job search database hosting hundreds of full-time and part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. You can schedule career appointments through Handshake as well as get your resume reviewed online. While many employers are in the Philly area, they are also many jobs from across the country posted on the site as well. Sign up with your SJU email now. Unsure how to access your account? Use Career Shift, found in your Handshake account. This resource has thousands of postings across the country and allows you to find contact information of individuals who work at companies of interest.
SJU Connects allows you to receive career advice and mentorship from alumni no matter where you are located. The extensive database gives you access to diverse industries and fields and allows you to schedule phone consultations with SJU alumni directly through the system.
