Q. How and when do I get started?

Q. How many sessions a year do you offer?
A. In order to align with the demanding schedules of today's students, the B.S. PLS program offers 6 sessions per year. Each session is 8 weeks in duration. Request Information for the next start date.
Q. What kind of educational background is required for admission?
A. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 is required.
Q. How many total credits are required?
A. The B.S. PLS online program currently requires the completion of 120 total credit hours. A minimum of 60 credit hours must be transferred into the program in order to be eligible to start with Saint Joseph's University. Alternate credit options are available to help to expedite the completion of your program.
Q. How many courses do I take per academic term?
A. With the exception of a student's first semester, each student will be able to take three courses per semester. Two (2) will be in an eight (8) week format and the third (the overlay course) will be in a fifteen (15) week format. This means that a student will be able to take up to 27 credit hours of courses per year.
Q. Is advising available for all students?
A. Yes. Each student receives a customized Curriculum Planner for the online B.S. PLS program and can set up a telephone appointment to speak with an advisor whenever assistance is needed.
