MS in Criminal Justice: Behavior Analysis Curriculum

The 30-credit curriculum requires degree candidates to take the following four (4) core criminal justice courses:

Core Courses (12 Credits)

  1. CRJ 550 Research Methods
  2. CRJ 560 Criminological Theory
  3. CRJ 565 Ethics and Criminal Justice
  4. CRJ 570 Professional Writing for Law Enforcement

In addition to the four (4) core criminal justice courses, students will also complete six (6) specialized courses in Behavior Analysis.

Behavior Analysis Courses (18 credits)

  1. CRJ 622 Basic Principles of Behavior Analysis
  2. CRJ 623 Applied Behavior Analysis
  3. CRJ 624 Behavior Analysis: Consultation
  4. CRJ 625 Behavioral Development
  5. CRJ 626 Clinical Behavior Analysis
  6. CRJ 657 Ethics in Behavior Analysis

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) has approved courses CRJ 622 through CRJ 657 as meeting the 4th Edition Task List’s coursework requirement for taking the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Examination. Those taking the BACB examination will need six (6) courses for 18 credits including courses CRJ 622, 623, 624, 625, 626, and 657. Applicants will have to meet additional internship requirements outside of the online program to qualify. Contact us to learn more.
