The faculty is very responsive and there’s always a way to get in touch with them. They are experts in the field, because most of them are still there.
[MUSIC PLAYING] LINDSAY DRAGON: I feel that St. Joseph's has a good academic reputation, and I feel that they have incredible resources here and incredible faculty.
I feel like the faculty is very responsive. They might not answer right away, but they always respond within 24 hours, and that's kind of their policy here on campus. And they also invite you to call them, e-mail them, Skype them, so you have many different ways to get in touch with them. Whenever you feel most comfortable with. There's also the discussion board and things like that. But I feel that I enjoy the faculty here because I feel like they are experts in the field. They're working in the field that they're teaching.
At first it was a little intimidating because you're not in class with the structure telling you the information. So you basically have to go out on your own, and read the books, and kind of understand the concepts. But I think that you learn more that way. I found that I'm actually grasping more of the material and I can actually, when I'm in the discussion board or when I'm on the phone with my friends in the class, I know what I'm talking about.
